PROPER PROCEDURES FOR MAINTENANCE REQUESTS
The VNHS Maintenance Department is responsible to respond to maintenance requests from tenants for their suites and/or building. The proper procedure is to contact your Building Manager FIRST . Your Building Manager will assess the situation and determine if he or she can make the necessary repairs or if they have to call the Maintenance Department. This step is important because it generates the paper work needed to assess the work that is needed, to make the repairs and to keep proper records for future reference.
In the event of a fire, flood or threat to yourself and/or VNHS property call 911 immediately.
If immediate repairs are required in your unit and/or building and the manager is not available, contact the emergency number at (604) 643-8885.
